Clay Buttons.

Mon Oct 12, 2009, 6:30 PM
I'll explain the title first of all. Today I finished my slab pot. I made it a rap-around-a-tube one. I think it looks pretty crappy; for a design I put a face on it. See, it's boring. But anyway, so after fifth hour I went to Coco Moon. I was sketching, and I was thinking of the little face I put on my pot. I wanted to put them on beads. So I sketched designs for the beads. I raced back to school to make them. And I really mean I raced, I almost spilt my coffee. I had the giant creative urge to make those beads. So I made them. And I even got to go to swimming, it was fucking exciting. Go me.

So those of you that go to the high school, and will read this I'll show you them. Fuck, even if you don't read this, I'm fucking showing you them anyway, because they're fucking awesome. I'm very fucking proud. So that means those of you that don't go to the high school will see them, like at the twins' party, because they're just so fucking cool.

-----------------------

If you can't tell, I fucking feel like saying fuck a fucking lot. So I'm getting it out of my fucking system.

I really like how dA lets you use the word fuck, or any other word, like bitch, whore, shit, ass, ndfjghikn, I ran out of words, I'm not putting much effort into thinking about them either...

-----------------------

I am sick of being sick. I almost puked in practice I was coughing so hard. And rumor has it that Nicole has H1N1. Interesting.

-----------------------

Tomorrow we're dressing up goofy for swimming. Lucky me.

-----------------------

On Thursday I'm driving down to St. Ben's all by myself. That's pretty wild. I'm going to be spending the night there and checking out the Blazer swim team.

I'm thinking now though that if I was accepted to St. Ben's, I wouldn't want to be on the team. It would take up so much time. And after this year I really want to concentrate on art... So maybe one year swimming for them, then I'll be done if it comes to that...

-----------------------

I would really like to go to CVA. Their buildings are exactly what I would love to work in. Like the perfect college environment. The BIG(BIIIGGGG(REALLY BIG)) down-side is that I would have to buy all my own food. And pay for renting a room from a fancy pants mansion.

I would like to go to MCAD for my Masters, if I want to do that after school, instead of jumping into the work force.

-----------------------

I'm trying not to think about that too much until I take the stupid ACTs again. Which I should really buckle down and study for... Boo. I hate studying. I've never been one to fucking 'buckle down' to study; hence passing APUSH with a measely D. But that will be what I'll do at night at St. Ben's I guess.

-----------------------

I fucking miss Devin. I fucking love him. I'm so fucking stupid for not realizing that sooner. Fuck.

-----------------------

I'm excited for the twins' party. Which is after the ACTs, thank buddha, I'll really be partyin' it up :) Fuck yea.

-----------------------

It's been getting so hard, living with the things you do to me, uh-huh. Things are getting so strange I'd like to tell everything I see, mm-hmm. OH--

I see a man in the back, as a matter of fact, his eyes are as red as the sun. And the girl in the corner, let no one ignore cause she thinks she's the passionate one! OH YEA, it's like lightning, everybody was frightning, and the music was soothing, and they all started grooving, YEA YEA YEA YEA YEA. And the man in the back said everyone attack, and then turn into a ballroom blitz, amd the girl in the corner said 'boy you don't want it to turn into a ballroom blitz' BALLROOM BLITZ.

-----------------------

Fuck yes, that was a little bit of Ballroom Blitz by Sweet. If those aren't the actual words, then fuck that, cause that's what I hear. I really like said song. I'm listening to it right now. But I can't say I'm going to be listening to the same song by the end of this journal.

-----------------------

Step inside, walk this way, you and me babe, HEY HEY!

-----------------------

See? Already a different song. (that was the beginning to Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard. fyi)

-----------------------

Oo, I just remembered that two of my pots are being high fired right now! How revitting!

-----------------------

Pour some sugar on me, in the name of love.
Pour some sugar on me, come on fire me up!
Pour your sugar on me, can't get enough!
I'm hot sticky sweet, from my head to my feet!

-----------------------

Tomorrow I'm going to make a cup in pottery before I have to leave for swimming. For some reason, I like making utilitarian pots in pottery. It feels weird to make something that's just for looks. Which is strange, being an artist, most of the things I make aren't anything but for looks... Huh.

-----------------------

I think this journal is long enough- ciaou! Italia!

Title relates to Creative Writing this week, with these weird word games that we had to solve. Things like 200: DFPG(IGM) which would mean 200 Dollars For Passing Go In the Game Monopoly. So My title means 1 Journal Entry Later.

All I'll say right now is that I'm really busy, and I'll try to update some other time.

Oh yea, I can't wait for the Star Trek movie to come out <3

  • Mood: Zeal
  • Reading: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Definately keeping busy (addition on buttom)

Thu Aug 27, 2009, 6:33 PM
So as of now my schedule is as follows, but I have an appointment to change the stupid thing tomorrow.

1: Pottery II- Johnson
2: Painting I- Medin
3: Creative Writing- Cummings
4: Symph Band- Foggy
5: Pottery I- Medin
6: Strength and Conditioning (This is one of the classes I plan to move to second semester in place of Foods.)

1: Adv. Art Portfolio- Medin
2: Brit Lit- Fischer
3: Digital Photography- Johnson
4: Symph Band- Foggy
5: Foods (I plan on getting rid of this all together >:[...)
6: American Goverment (I want to move this class to a different time, I don't it being the last class I ever take in high school)

-----------------------

So ever since I got my schedule I've had a crappy week, but I don't like complaining about on the computer.

It's more of an FYI thing, so you know I'm not trying to ignore anyone.

-----------------------

Swimming has been going really well. I'm a captain, and because of the small number on the team, everyone is getting along, I think it's going to be a great year for us.

Our first swim meet is this coming Tuesday, but it's in Bemidji, boo. Our first home meet is this next Thursday, so I invite anyone to come and watch :)

-----------------------

I'm really exctied for the tour that me and mom are going to for MCAD! We get to listen to speakers, eat in their lunch hall, view their gallery, and tour the class rooms. I hope that it lives up to my expectations, it's my first choice in schools as far as I know., anyway, so I want to like it there.

-----------------------

I bought a new sketch pad, yay! Two drawings already in it!

-----------------------

I want to read Harry Potter so badly, I wish I had time, I think that's what I'm going to do after I'm done on the computer :)

-----------------------

I hate the kind of dreams that you wich were real, because you're so happy within the dream, but then you wake up, and realize that it simply isn't possible; yea I had one of those last night, I thought about it all day... Sadness, it made me pretty lonely feeling... But I know I was having a lucid dreaming kind of, because I read the word 'Milwaulkee'. I thought it was impressive that I even remembered that... But the dream I had had to do all about this one person that I really miss, so that made me sad too...

-----------------------

But anyway, I have to go, so ta ta, I will update as soon as I can about the change in schedules.

-----------------------
-----------------------

Okay, so as you know, I went to have my schedule changed, and I suppose the results are okay for right now... I'm just going to say though that Ms. Pikula is an idiot, which I'll explain in a bit.

So new schedule is...
1: Sociology- Halverson
2: Painting I- Medin
3: Creative writing- Cummings
4: Band- Foggy
5: Pottery I- Medin
6: OPEN HOUR

1: Adv Art Portfolio- Medin
2: Brit Lit- Fischer
3: Digital Photography- Johnson
4: Band- Foggy
5: Outdoor Adventure- Boran
6: American Govn't- Whalen

As you can tell some things got moved and others got deleted; like Pottery II for example. Pikula wouldn't allow me to keep it because she thinks it to be inhumanly possible to learn I and II at the same time. I can agree with her somewhat, but I wanted Johnson for a pottery teacher, damn it! So instead of letting me take a different art class, she suggest, rather forcefully to take sociology because she thinks it to be important. I know I won't mind the class really, but ugh, I could've taken artist books or something! I'm glad that I have some kind of gym class second semester now though, so it won't interfere with swimming training. Sadness though that the last class I'll have is still American Govn't... *sigh*

-----------------------

On a happier note, I'll share I few tid-bits I've learned lately:

Considering ACDC is from Australia, many people down under refer to the band as 'Acca Dacca'.

Snails can sleep up to 3 years at one time!

When The Beatles and Bob Dylan would smoke pot together, Paul and John would call it 'having a giggle with Bob'.

I passed the math MCA test thing above average! (This isn't really a tid-bit, but I just found out today. You know what test I'm talking about, right? The one that we have to pass to graduate?)

-----------------------

Also today Melusedek and I went to Cattales. It was honestly the first time I had ever been in there. I have to admit, it's flippin' amazing! I want to get so many things there. First of all this yoga book from the 60's that seemed to really be informal. Then these books that had all sorts of stuff about Chakras and stuff like that. And there were tarot card decks, which would be awesome to learn how to use; and then one day even make my own deck :3. And then I saw that you can sign up for a palm reading session for the 3rd of Sept, so instead Melusedek and I saw a book that we started going thru that I would also love to get. That's something I'd also love to get for fun. All the fortune telling stuff, and the spirit energy kind of thing has always been very interesting to me. So going in there was definately worth it.

-----------------------

So anyway, I'm by myself at dad's house, and the dogs won't shut up, so I think I'll go in the living room so they might settle down...
Ciao, Italia!

Perseids and soup spoons and now an add on!

Wed Aug 12, 2009, 6:34 PM
So just a quick update because I'm going to go out and watch more of the meteor shower, seeing as tonight is the last night.

More about the Perseids, Alex, they originate around the constilation Perseus, like you said, but I looked it up, and it happens to be adjacent to Cassiopeia! So I'd say we'd been looking in the right spot!

In other news relating to last night I'd like to share an insightful quote I made about soup spoons: " Soup spoons are interesting you know, it's like putting your bowl of soup into a smaller bowl on a stick!" I made this conclusion while Alex and I were having a midnight snack, which I had Cottage cheese.

Last thing before I go outside! I finished the third Harry Potter book! Hooray, to-night I begin to read the fourth!

I'll update whenever I get the chance, hopefully it's within a few hours, because I'd like to share some art ideas!

-------------------------

So yesterday Nick came home. So as to surprise him, a few friends and myself hid in their garage as Ryan brought them home. They were happy to find us in there!

I didn't even think of it before, but it's winter in Aussieland, and you know it's summer here, so Nicks family was over heating. Although it cold off quickly in the night, because they had gotten back at 11:00, but still, it's hotter here than Australia right now.

And since their still running on Australia time, Nick wasn't even going to go to bed last night, so a few of us stayed until around five in the morning, and I still drove home. It was weird to see the sun rising on the way home, but it was so fun.

Wehad ordered pizzas, and just stayed up talking, and laughing. And ick knows some pretty wicked card tricks, which are really freaky, I kid you not! I have really no clue as to how they're done.

------------------------

Well on the subject of art, I was thinking I would keep practicing using the photo-shop program that I have along with my tablet thingy. But then I relized, that would have to be put off until I come back to mom's seeing as this is where said stuff is.

So instead I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing. Although I have had the urge to draw something really messed up, ie, bloody, gorey, creepy, sick. Well one of the shirts that I'm planning on making is kind of to that extent, so there you go. The shirts that I plan on doing is kind of like a Grimm series, and I'm really excited about it. Because fables are simply awesome.

------------------------

Holy balls!!! This is so cool, and I'm glad that I noticed! Today is the two year anniversary of my first journal entry on here! Even though my first journal entries are really lame, so I urge you to NOT read them, seriously. I'm not going to delete them however because they're still memories, no matter how stupid they are.

Hmm. I just counted, and I only have 53 (that is if I counted correctly) entries... It seems like there would be more than that... Ah well.

------------------------

I'm going to get going, this entry is getting pretty long, so I'll snip it here

Harry Potter and things kind of worth mentioning

Wed Aug 5, 2009, 8:48 PM
So after we went to see HP6 as you know I decided to read all the books before the seventh movie comes out. As of right now I'm like 150 pages into The Prisoner of Azkaban. To me this is very exciting, the books never were interesting when I tried to read them when I was younger. But like melusedek said, we change, so I would have to agree.

I really like the books though, the characters are a lot better then they're portrayed in the films.

------------------------------

Anyway, the County Fair was pretty much the same as when we were little, but being with the twins made it better :). Too bad that the rest of you couldn't be with...

We didn't even win any fruit, so that is a bummer too.

------------------------------

I'm listening to Tom Petty right now, he's a brilliant man, a brilliant sexy man despite his big teeth :P

------------------------------

I'm really tired.

------------------------------

I'm feeling a bit out of it also right now, that trippy feeling that I tried to explain to the twins; but for those of you that aren't the twins (haha) it's as if my vision becomes super sharp, and my eyes can see everything possibly, they catch tiny movements, observing really quickly, it's funky. But it worries me because it's somewhat like a drug trip, and that makes me feel that I am a little bit more insane than people already know.

------------------------------

But at any rate... Swimming starts on August 17th. I'm kind of excited about it, but it's going to be really tiring. Although I won't have to work as often. But you know, that's kind of a double edge swod because I need the money, but it becomes so mundayne and takes up time that I could be doing things that I like more. Like doing art. But I had a little breakdown about my artwork again. But that's a story for a bit later.

------------------------------

I have a rancid taste lingering in my mouth. At least I know I had enough dairy today though. What I had for supper was 4-cheese pizza with alfredo drizzled over the top. The pizza sauce though was like creamy garlic or something, so you can imagine what fumes this would create inside a mouth...

------------------------------

The pizza was a frozen pizza from down in the deep freeze. Which I didn't even know was down there because I checked before I went to work. When I had gotten back from work I had asked my dad for some money to go buy a frozen pizza from the store, which he gave me. I was going to wait until my dad and step-mom left to go pick up her horse at the fair to drive to the store. So they had left and I went down to my car to leave, but I had locked my keys in my car. Being the only one at home I freaked out. I tried to open the door with a wire hager since my window is broken at the moment, and it has a crack left at the top. I didn't succeed so I started balling my eyes out. It wasn't the fact that I locked my keys in, because I actually do that pretty often. But there have just been a few things that have happened lately, and that little incident tipped my tears off the scale. So that where the art breakdown came into play. But I won't complain about that because I don't like whining about my inablities, that bothers me.

------------------------------

So anyway. Insence smells so yummy. My dad doesn't like it though, he'll come into my room and put on a sour face.

------------------------------

I can't wait for school to start. I'm looking forward to pottery the most. And photography too. Actually my whole schedule should be awesome.

------------------------------

Oh my my, oh hell yes, honey put on that party dress. Buy me a drink, sing me a song, take me as I come cause I can't stay long. Last dance with Mary Jane, one more time to kill the pain. I feel summer creepin' in and I'm tired of this town again.

------------------------------

I feel like working out, but like I said I'm tired, so ultimately, I'm too lazy to right now.

------------------------------

Oh, I forgot! Jasmine, I bought a book that I think you'd like, but I don't know since I haven't read it yet. But it's called Luna. It's about a girl that has a brother that's transexual, but he's been keeping it a secret, and then decides to come out and tell everyone. Seems really good, so I excited about that too.

I've just been excited about a lot of books lately. I think I'm evolving into somewhat of a bookworm, I hope so anyway, because I really enjoy reading! Yay books!

------------------------------

I think I'm going to scadaddle, it's been real! Until next time!
